“Design isn’t finished until somebody is using it.” — Brenda Laurel, Ph.D., Independent Scholar
Confusing design is just bad design. Everything we create has to have the end-user in mind. Interviews and research shine a light on what the actual design problem is. We need to bring empathy into our decision-making and focus on what is best for the user. When we can combine research, data, and empathy we can solve the issues our users face.
Below are two small case studies I have done in the past. I have lead multiple case studies that span UX, CX, Market Research and Product Design. Most current needs are used as core tools within development and I am not able to share these due to NDA’s.
Breakfast Matters
I had an opportunity to participate in an Adobe Creative Jam competition. My team and I create an app named Breakfast Matters. Want to see how we did? Find out more in the project details.
New Leafs and Roots
For my Thesis I focused on creating a journaling app for everyone, young and old can use. User interviews brought up some interesting points and the end result took a turn I did not expect.
